SAMARIA. 'Middle Levantine' Series. Circa 375-333 BC. M'h (Silver, 9 mm, 0.49 g, 12 h). Persian hero or Great King seated to right, holding eagle in his right hand. Rev. Persian hero or Great King, on the left and holding dagger in his right hand, fighting bull, on the right, whom he holds by the horns; in field to left, 𐡔𐡌𐡃 (ŠMR in Aramaic). Jeselsohn 170.
